Ouch

The contractions have been pretty intense recently, so the anesthesiologist just came in to adjust Lindsay's pain meds. Also, Lindsay's doctor came in at 9:00pm (hence the clock picture) and checked her progress--Linds is now 8cm, and the doctor says everything is going really well. She went from 7cm to 8cm in about half an hour for those of you keeping score at home.

Hold on until after midnight then the baby will be born on Carlee's birthday, unfortunately you would have to name her McCarlee. Lynn said if it happens Friday then Ma & Pa's first granddaughter and great granddaughter would be born on the same day.

Love,
Lynn & Jim

Did the doctor come in at 9 or 9:02 (per the clock picture)? I don't mean to be nitpicky, but this is a blog. Blogs are where many people go to get facts and details.

PS: Still waiting for you to post baby pics. Did you run out of space on your camera?

On the phone w/ your Dad Lindsay....he's been checking the blog all day but is stuck in traffic so I'm updating him...

He says: "His bet's on McKenna arriving shortly after midnight July 25th...Look forward to seeing all of you soon and holding my new granddaughter." Love Dad

Is she born now? The PA predicts birth at 11:11pm. I should know, given the reported level of dilation and the amount of urgency with which the last post was typed.
Jake apparently wasn't paying attention when he wanted baby pics already...I mean, give her some time to eat, and cry, and learn to breathe and stuff...
Gotchu all in our prayers as we head to bed...looking forward to checking in the am.
